Spring is Calling!
The recent runway shows in Gotham presented a variety of make-up looks, with some that might be a little too risqué for the everyday fashionista. Get the Look spotted a few trends that will be all the rage, some of which can be achieved by adding a pop of colour or, in contrast, applying natural flesh tones.
Electric Blue!
For the upcoming Spring/Summer season, the models at Marchesa, Diane von Fu¨rstenberg, Anna Sui and Jeremy Scott filed down the runway with bursts of brightly coloured eye and lip make-up.
Diane von Fu¨rstenberg
Intense eyes with a colourful blend of blues and greens.
Anna Sui
Anna Sui opted for bold and classic wine-red lips.
Jeremy Scott
Peachy hues were chosen by crowd favourite Jeremy Scott.
Marchesa
Known for their ethereal designs, Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Karen Craig
decided hot pink is the colour for Spring/Summer 2016.
Tommy Hilfiger
Street fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger paid homage to Caribbean vibes via Mustique, in the Grenadines, for his Spring/Summer 2016 collection. The models wore neutral shades, a contrast to the tropical-coloured designs, their faces bare – well-groomed eyebrows, lip balm and a bit of bronzer to add colour to the skin, and that was it.
Calvin Klein
Calvin Klein, known for his classic designs, sent models down the runway with neutral eyes and a flesh-toned lipgloss.
Ralph Lauren
Natural skin tone accented with blush, bronzer and lipgloss
for the models on the Ralph Lauren runway.
