To keep your princess’s hair stylish and posh Nardia James, managing director and owner of Kiddi Palace, warns against braiding hair too tight. “If cornrows are done too tight they will pull on the scalp; the pulling may lead to a number of things including hair loss, hair damage and a receding hairline.” She continues, “However, if done correctly, braids are stylish and ideal for young girls.”

Keeping up with the Cornrows
To keep hairstyles looking fresh, Kiddi Palace owner Nardia James suggests the following: oil scalp and keep hair moisturised between visits. James also recommends a bi-weekly ‘refresh’ for the girls as the styles may start to unravel.
