JCDS to support one charity monthly
JAMAICA Cosmetic Dental Services (JCDS) recently announced that they will be donating a percentage of their profits earned from their New Patient Examinations each month to needy charity organisations in Jamaica.
The first charity groups who will benefit from this initiative is Angels of Love – a charity group who assists critically ill, disadvantaged and underprivileged children in Jamaica. During the month of October – which is celebrated as Dental Health Month, JCDS will provide free dental treatment to children with terminal cancer in partnership with Angels of Love.
JCDS already hosted 100 children with free dental care in February during Children’s Dental Health Month.
Since opening in 2010, JCDS has given away four free smile makeovers, provided over J$1 million in free dental services to children, donated over J$100,000 to Crayons Count to purchase learning kits for schools, built a playground and computer lab for a local school, provided outreach to more than 50 schools and community health fairs, hosted two toy and clothes drives which benefitted local children’s homes, and educated thousands on the importance of proper dental health through social media.
