#BEIJING2015: Men through to 4x400m final
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Clocking 2:58.69 in the second heat of the 4x400m relays, Jamaica’s men are through to the final at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing, China.
Jamaica’s team of Peter Matthews, Ricardo Chambers, Dane Hyatt, and Javon Francis finished third in the heat won by the United States, who stopped the clock at 2:58.13. Trinidad and Tobago finished second in a time of 2:58.67.
Cuba finished fourth in a time of 2:59.80, and have also qualified for Sunday’s final at 7:25 am (Jamaica local time).
Also lining up in the final will be Great Britain and Northern Ireland (2.59.05), Belgium (2:59.28), France (2:59.42), and Russia (2:59.45).
