#BEIJING2015: Jamaica advance to women’s 4x400m final
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica’s women finished second in the 4x400m to advance to the final at the IAAF World Championships now under way in Beijing, China.
The team of Anastasia Le-Roy, Shericka Jackson, Chrisann Gordon and Christine Day clocked 3:23.62 behind Nigeria, who stopped the clock at 3:23.27.
Russia finished third in a time of 3:23.75.
They will be joined in the final on Sunday at 7:05 am (Jamaica local time) by the United States who won the second heat in a time of 3.23.05.
The other teams to line up in the final are Canada (3:26.14), Great Britain and Northern Ireland (3:23.90), France (3:24.86), and Ukraine
(3:26.01).
