ONLINE POLL RESULTS: Bolt will not be beaten by Gatlin
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Of 1,874 respondents to a recent OBSERVER ONLINE poll, 77 per cent believe that double sprint champion Usain Bolt will not be beaten by American rival Justin Gatlin in the 200 metres finals of the IAAF World Championships in Beijing, China, today.
Gatlin, comfortably the fastest man in the world this year over 200m, is desperate for a win as he seeks revenge for his shock defeat in the 100m race on Sunday.
Bolt, on the other hand, has won the 200m at the last five major international competitions (three World Championships, two Olympics) and, is the world-record holder and favourite.
The defending champion finished strong in the preliminary rounds and is poised to successfully retain his title.
