#BEIJING2015: Jamaicans to compete in 3 events
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica’s lone distance runner will hit the track at the Birds Nest National Stadium in the men’s 5000m qualifying race, while two women will compete in the 800m heats. At the same time, three men will line up in the heats of the 110mH.
Kemoy Campbell, the former Bellefield High champion, will run in heat one of the 5000m qualifying event.
Meanwhile, former Manchester High runner Natoya Goule starts her campaign in lane two of heat five of the women’s 800m, while Simoya Campbell will compete in heat four from lane nine.
In the men’s 110mH, compatriot Omar McLeod will line up in lane four of heat one while Andrew Riley will run from lane four of heat and Hansle Parchment will line up in lane four of heat four at the IAAF World Championships now under way in Beijing, China.
