Barbican’s McGregor Starballer award winner
It was added excitement for Ramone ‘Passa’ McGregor at the semi-final game of the Red Stripe National Premier League at the Effortville football field, Clarendon, when at half-time the 22-year-old Barbican captain entered the field to receive the $30,000 cheque and attractive plaque from Tenequa Hyatt, Financial Accountant of China Harbour Engineering Company Limited. He was cheered by the massive crowd attending the Arnett Gardens vs Humble Lion game where Arnett won 3-2, on May 18. McGregor was chosen by judges for the envied CHEC Starballer award for his superb leadership skills and solid defensive techniques which contributed to goals scored for the month of March.
