teen ladies and gents, we’re back and clucking with excitement to introduce you to this app. That’s
Hiya
right, we
said ‘clucking’, because that’s all you’re going to be doing when you decide to hop. Hold on to your eggs! We’re talking about Pan Chicken Dash.
Pan Chicken Dash is a gaming app which follows the story of a chicken desperately trying to get his stolen eggs back for himself and his chick. These eggs were stolen by vicious rats, and “Mr Chicken” has to race against time to get his eggs away from the rats and back into the jerk pan before its too late.
Points are gained through the collection of bags of feed lying around along the journey. Points are also gained if “Mr Chicken” defeats the evil rats that sadly only appear when his hands are full with the egg he just found. In this respect the game is pretty easy to play. Users are able to run and jump from platform to platform by swiping right, left and up. There’s a bar at the top of your screen indicating your time limit and a flame above it which burns brighter the closer you get to an egg so you aren’t running around like… well a headless chicken.
This game is super fun to play, but that shouldn’t be the only reason you go on down to the app store and
That. The game is riddled with Jamaican slangs and phrases. Why is that you ask? Get this, the game’s creators are Jamaican born and bred through and through. In
t’App
they created the app in 2014, creators Janelle Blackwood,
fact when
Hyde, Kadeem Heywood, and Stephan Smith, collectively known as Working Enigma, were attending the University of Technology. How cool is that?!

So make your way on over to the app store and give it a go. The only thing you’ll need to worry about (maybe) is how addictive Pan Chicken Dash is. Get to
