Olympiakos wins 42nd league crown
Olympiakos claimed their 42nd domestic league title with three games to spare after a 4-0 victory at home to Levadiakos on Sunday.
Argentine midfielder Alejandro Dominguez scored two goals and assisted another by Uruguayan forward Jorge Benitez to lift Olympiakos to their fifth straight league crown and their 17th in the last 19 years.
The fourth goal for the winners was scored by midfielder Kostas Fortounis in the dying minutes.
Olympiakos now have 73 points after 31 matches with PAOK in second place on 60 points and Panathinaikos third with 59 points.
The Piraeus club along with Apollon, Iraklis and Xanthi have made it to the semi-finals of the Greek Cup.
Olympiakos is virtually assured a spot in the Greek Cup final after a 3-0 victory at Apollon in the first leg.
