Harmony face Clarks Town in TFA Major League
CLARKS TOWN, Trelawny — The lead in Zone Two of the Trelawny Football Association Monymusk Plantation Rum Major League could be up for grabs today as the top three teams will be in action, including leaders Harmony FC against third-placed Clarks Town at Cedric Titus High in Clarks Town.
In other games today, second-placed Spicy Hill are away to Kinloss FC and Baca Star United and Wakefield will meet in Zone Two action, while in a Zone One game, Prospect Link host Duanvale at Samuel Prospect.
All games are set to start at 3:30 pm.
Three points separate Harmony FC and Clarks Town and Harmony will be seeking a second win over them this season after prevailing 2-0 in the first round.
With Spicy Hill expected to beat Kinloss, Harmony FC will need to win if they are to stay at the top of the table.
Baca Star United have won twice since they returned to the Major League and will hope to move away from the foot of the table with a win over last-placed Wakefield. The teams had drawn 1-1 in the first round.
In the lone Zone One game today, Duanvale FC will seek to close the massive gap between them and leaders Coopers Pen when they take on Prospect Link, who have struggled this season, sitting in second to last place on four points.
Coopers Pen lead with 22 points from seven wins and a draw, eight more than Duanvale FC’s 14 points.
