Phoenix Inspired
Consider this an avant-garde inspiration created by Make-Up Pro Sasha Bowie and inspired by the phoenix. Here’s how to get the look.
You will need…
Pigment loose powder eye shadows in different colours.
A little water to turn the pigments into paint and make them even more colourful.
Spirit Gum
Rhinestones
Eyelash glue
Black false lashes
Black khol pencil
Orange lip stain
Adhesive jewellery (ours was imported from India)
Here’s How…
Use spirit gum (be sure you have the Spirit Gum remover) to attach the large rhinestones to cover Aiwa’s eyebrows.
Mix orange loose powder pigment with a drop or two of water. Create a triangle shape from the corner of the mouth to the eyes. This functions as an exaggerated blush.
Mix the various pigment colours over different areas of the top eyelid and brow bone.
Repeat under the lower lash line.
Black eyelashes were then adhered to the top lid and lined with a black khol eye-pencil.
Use the Spirit Gum – starting immediately below the eyelids to the cheeks – to apply rhinestones.
Apply orange lip stain to the lips.
Finally, apply adhesive jewellery to the forehead and middle of the chest. This brings the entire look together.
