Shanique Rowe anchors Edwin Allen High to victory in the schoolgirls’ Class Four 4x100m final at the 39th Gibson McCook Relays at the National Stadium on February 28. The Edwin Allen team clocked 47.74 seconds to beat St Jago High (left) 47.98 seconds and Wolmer’s Girls – 48.49 seconds. Edwin Allen High, from Frankfield in northern Clarendon, won four of seven relays for high school girls including equalling the Class Two 4x100m record (45.01 seconds), while Holmwood Technical won one, the high school girls 4x800m.
