All-Star Edition
This week, we have a special teenAGE iLIKES for you with the top five plays that impressed us in the record-breaking All-Star Game, which the West All Stars won 163-158 at the Madison Square Garden. This was the highest scoring All-Star Game as well as having the most attempted three-pointers with 133.
5 Chris ‘CP3’ Paul spotted Russell Westbrook marauding down the court on the break and didn’t let the fact that he was deep in the backcourt stop him from throwing an almost court-long oop to Westbrook who made no mistake with the reverse touch lay-up.
4 Steph Curry pulled down the rebound before pulling out his fancy handles in the crowded paint and dishing the quick behind-the-back pass to the cutting James Harden for the dunk.
3 The showing off didn’t end with number 4 for Steph Curry though, as he cut through the Easts’; with a series of hesitations and exaggerated behind-the-back moves before looping the soft lay-up in off the backboard.
2 Kyle Lowry had a cutting LeBron James and a back-pedalling West defence and swung the oop up to ‘The King’; who caught it and threw down the massive reverse dunk.
1 Russell Westbrook dunks so hard ‘because he doesn’t wanna get blocked’;. He had to watch his head though, as he came in with a vicious finish to CP3’s alley-oop dish, banging his head against the backboard as he did.
