Express Fitness announces 30-day amnesty
EXPRESS Fitness has announced an amnesty for its members on outstanding gym fees.
The amnesty, which is designed to ease the financial pressure off members who fell behind on paying their membership fees, takes effect on January 26, 2015 and will last for 30 days.
During the amnesty, Express Fitness members who owe $20,000 or more in membership fees will receive a 50 per cent discount in order to clear their balance.
“The amnesty is another initiative by the company to build a closer relationship with its members,” said Express Fitness Managing Director Ansel Clarke. “Given the harsh economic climate, we see the need to offer an amnesty to our members in an effort to give them a better chance to achieve their fitness goals.”
In making the announcement, Clarke also disclosed that a comprehensive revision of company policy has also come into effect.
The Express Fitness CEO said that along with the ‘START NOW’ programme that is now in place, the company has eliminated their one-year contract membership option as well as removed all joining fees.
“Express Fitness is all about making fitness more affordable for all Jamaicans. We want lifestyle illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension to be a thing of the past,” said Clarke.
The managing director encourages all members with outstanding fee, to take full advantage of the amnesty and get back to meeting their fitness goals.
Payments can be made at any of the eight Express Fitness clubs islandwide or contact 883-1487 for more details.
