Boys’ Town hammer Sporting Central 4-1
BOYS’ Town scored a forceful 4-1 win over Sporting Central Academy in their opening second-round Red Stripe Premier League game to continue their unbeaten run against the losers at Collie Smith Drive yesterday.
Rafiek Thomas scored a lively hat-trick with goals in 45th+1, 67th and 81st minutes, while Michael Campbell opened the scoring in the second minute of play to give Boys’ Town a taste of sweet revenge following a 0-3 drubbing they suffered in their first-round action away from home. Second-half substitute Duhaney Williams replied in minute 61 for Sporting Central.
