Tony Welsh murder trial for mention December 8
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The murder trial of former People’s National Party (PNP) strongman Milton ‘Tony’ Welsh was set for mention on December 8 when the matter came up in the Home Circuit court this morning.
This is the third trial after jurors failed to reach a verdict in the previous two.
Welsh was charged for the 2006 stabbing death of 21-year-old Damion Hussey after a PNP rally. The killing occurred in Golden Spring, St Andrew.
Prosecutors are now to decide if they will continue with the case.
