Another Jamaican Voice
Another Jamaican seems to be setting the US singing competition The Voice on fire with her talent.
The Jamaican-born singer Anita Antoinette Fearon has been performing well throughout the competition and her last performance of Bob Marley’s Redemption Song is now at number one on the iTunes Reggae top 100 chart.
Anita Antoinette Fearon has been getting a lot of attention from Jamaicans, especially residents of Duhaney Park in Kingston which is where she grew up before leaving for the US.
This is her second time entering the NBC show and Fearon is reported as saying she hopes to follow in the footsteps of Tessanne Chin, who won season four of the competition.
Gaza Slim dating I-Octane?
Following the release of their collaborative single “Cyah Do it”, rumours have been circulating that I-Octane and Gaza Slim are in a relationship.
Gaza Slim has been reported as saying that she is not dating I-Octane and they are just friends. The rumours were reignited recently when I-Octane posted a photo of himself and Gaza Slim on Instagram.
However, a source close to the artiste says the photo is simply a promotion for the new single.
Gaza Slim became popular when she joined the now incarcerated deejay, Vybz Kartel’s Gaza Empire and was said to be in a relationship with Kartel.
Solange married
Beyonce’s younger sister 28-year-old Solange Knowles got married on November 16, 2014 to her 51-years-old videographer boyfriend Alan Gerrad Ferguson.
The wedding included many unconventional aspects such as all the wedding party wore white along with the bride, and the bride and groom rode away from the ceremony on white bicycles. The wedding party featured Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z.
Solange was first photographed with Alan back in 2008, but managed to keep their relationship a secret. She officially announced their relationship when she posted a picture of her vacation in Paris with her 10-year-old son Julez and Alan on social media.
