Clarendon College defeat Glenmuir 2-1 to reach daCosta Cup final
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Clarendon College will contest the ISSA/LIME daCosta Cup final for the first time in 16 years after defeating Glenmuir High, 2-1, in an enthralling semi-final encounter at Juici Park this afternoon.
The Jackie Walters-coached Clarendon College needed extra-time to see off their fierce parish rivals in a match that saw Glenmuir missing a penalty in the dying moments of the game.
Clarendon College, who won the last of their six titles in 1998, will now meet either defending champions St Elizabeth Technical High School or Dinthill Technical in the next Saturday’s daCosta Cup final.
