PCL Cricket: Windwards struggling at 98-8 at lunch vs Jamaica
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Windward Islands Volcanoes were struggling at 98 for 8 at lunch on day two of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Professional Cricket League (PCL) Four-Day Tournament against Jamaica at Sabina Park on Saturday.
The Volcanoes resuming from their overnight score of 16 for three, lost Tryone Theophille for 24 and Romel Currency for 19, both going to left-arm spinner Nikita Miller.
They lost wickets at regular intervals thereafter, before Alston Bobb (30) and Kenroy Peters who is yet to score took them to lunch without further loss as the rains came.
Debutant Marquino Mindley has so far grabbed four wickets for 26 runs to lead the bowling attack, while Miller has three for 22.
Jamaica, after winning the toss and batting first were bowled out for 208 yesterday.
