Trinidad-born actor Paul Pryce, whose father is Jamaican, was recently named one of the 40 Under-40 Caribbean American Achievers of 2014 by Caribbean Life newspaper
Pryce, who recently nabbed the leading role in Shakespeare’s Pericles at the Elm Shakespeare Company in Connecticut, is the son of the late Jamaican criminologist Dr Ken Pryce.
He will be feted along with the other recipients at a gala at Sirico’s Hall, Brooklyn, New York on November 20.
“I am deeply honoured, humbled and tremendously excited to be recognised by Caribbean Life with this incredible honour at this point in my career, and if this also inspires my fellow Caribbean actors and artistes to strive to achieve their own goals, then it is a double blessing for me,” Pryce said.
The event recognises 40 US- based individuals of Caribbean descent who have distinguished themselves in various fields of endeavour, including the arts and entertainment, business, education, and entrepreneurship.
