Motor show plans now in high gear
PLANS for this year’s Automobile Dealers’ Association (ADA) Motor Show are progressing quite steadily says Kent LaCroix, chairman of the group.
The three-day event is scheduled for the National Arena in St Andrew on Friday, November 28, to Sunday, November 30.
“Downstairs is already booked out. While on the mezzanine floor, there are 10 spaces left out of 40-odd,” said LaCroix.
According to the chairman, the budget for this year’s show is $20 million and he expects 15,000 people to attend.
“All 16 dealers will be showcasing their latest models… and that’s over 22 brands including commercial brands and trucks,” he said.
“I’m encouraging everyone to come on down. We’ll have all the dealers, with the best prices. The banks will also be here with their best rates… all under one roof. You can compare right there and then. Everybody is going to be there,” he continued.
Financial institutions National Commercial Bank (NCB), Sagicor, and Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) are expected to be at the venue.
LaCroix said the children are not be left out as there will be attractions for them.
The last show ADA Motor Show was March 2014.
