Fight diseases, infections NATURALLY
This is the second in a three-part series exploring some of the most effective natural remedies that are able to assist your body to heal itself.
VIRUSES, bacterial and fungal infections and cancer can be the most intimidating diseases to combat naturally, but if you put the right foods in your mouth, then you give your body a fighting chance while eradicating them.
We need to be reminded that immune responses are the body’s natural way of fighting all diseases and infections. Antibiotics, whether man-made or natural, will not kill viruses. They are specifically for bacteria (biotic). The flu is a virus called influenza. Antibiotics are usually used to prevent opportunistic organisms from overtaking the body while the immune system is weakened as it fights viruses and other infections. However, overuse can also harm beneficial symbiotic bacteria known as friendly flora, which is vital to digestion and immunity.
FEVER
Fever is the body’s natural way to kill “bad bug” infections. Unless you are running a prolonged very high fever, then it is best to ride it out and let it do what it was designed to do — kill the invading bugs and germs which cannot survive at higher temperatures. Fever is not usually dangerous until it reaches levels above 103 degrees Fahrenheit which is about 40 degrees Celsius. If your temperature reaches these levels, you may usually combat it successfully with over-the-counter fever reducers and ice therapy.
Most often, when we do as conditioned and try to reduce symptoms of the common cold, etc, we actually prolong the misery by counteracting the body’s own natural defence mechanisms, such as when we prematurely utilise fever medication, cough syrups, antihistamines and the like. This means that instead of the average one to three days it would take your immune system to flush out infected cells, you are laid up in bed for seven to 10 days, or even longer, missing out on work and life in general. Furthermore, you have not built a strong, natural immunity should the opportunistic infection recur.
DO’S
Also, always look to consume pure water, to get fresh air, to expose yourself to sunshine for 15-20 minutes a day but don’t expose your skin to the point of burning, and to get at least moderate exercise on a regular basis.
DON’TS
In contrast, you should completely avoid:
* Refined sugars
* Conventional dairy (non-organic and pasteurised)
* Glutinous grains (wheat, barley, spelt)
* Soy (non-organic and unfermented)
* Pork (even when organic)
YOU NEED TO ALSO LIMIT:
* Fruit juices and fruits with high levels of sugar (pineapples, mangoes, bananas)
* Rice, oats and corn (completely avoid genetically modified organism sources)
* Animal protein (ensure beef is organic and grass-fed, chicken is free-range and organic, fish is wild-caught and not farmed)
Additionally, your body needs good natural fats, such as using real butter instead of margarine, which is just one example. Search other ways to increase natural fats and collagen and to decrease refined sugars and carbohydrates such as processed breads.
This is certainly not an exhaustive list, as entire books cater to how to avoid infections and cancers altogether. The core theme in all is to:
Avoid all impurities in food, air and water
Cleanse your body with alkaline, easily digestible and nutrient-rich foods, including necessary whole food supplementation.
Begin a protocol of liver cleansing and regenerating herbs.
And, for a natural, powerful and effective “flu shot” without the needle, juice ginger, turmeric, lemon, wheat grass, and cranberry. Viruses and bacteria don’t stand much of a chance when you shoot this tonic.
