Quiet nuptials: Mark Shields weds Emily Crooks
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Popular media personality and lawyer, Emily Crooks, and former Deputy Commissioner of Police Mark Shields are scheduled to wed this afternoon in a ceremony in Montego Bay.
Congratulations have begun to pour in on social media for the couple. Shields and Crooks have been together for some time and share a child.
Shields moved to Jamaica in 2005 to take up a position in the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
He gained worldwide attention in 2007 when led the investigation into the death of Pakistan’s cricket coach Bob Woolmer in the run-up to the Cricket World Cup finals.
