LIME Super Cup semis on Saturday

THE ISSA/LIME Super Cup Knockout semi-finals will be held at the National Stadium on Saturday.

In the opening game at 2:00 pm, last season’s Walker Cup KO winners Wolmer’s Boys face surprise-package Holy Trinity High. Wolmer’s reached the semis after blanking old foes St George’s College 3-0, while Holy Trinity upstaged rural area daCosta Cup team Garvey Maceo High in a 4-0 drubbing.

In the feature match of the double-header set to begin at 4:00 pm, Manning Cup title-holders Jamaica College renew rivalry with daCosta Cup kingpins St Elizabeth Technical High School.

The teams met in last year’s all-island Olivier Shield play-off with JC prevailing as emphatic victors over two legs.

JC and STETHS reached the Super Cup last-four after 2-1 wins over Hydel High and Camperdown High, respectively.
