White Hall defeat Road Runner in INSPORTS league
TWO goals from Demarlo Garrick enabled White Hall FC to defeat Road Runner FC 4-0 as the 2014/2015 INSPORTS All-Island Community League Football Championship continued At Pembroke Hall Primary School on Sunday.
Garrick scored his goals in the 25th and 30th minutes, while Alton Smith and Lasang Bent got the others in the 24th and 37th minutes, respectively.
Meanwhile, Dallas FC tagged Angel Mafia United 3-1 through goals from Allen Jack in the 39th and 60th minutes and Edward Donald in the 55th minute, while Kevis Clarke got the losers’ lone goal in the 24th minute. Mafia led 1-0 at the interval.
McGregor FC beat Kintyre FC 3-1 with Jason McGregor scoring in the 10th and 21st minutes and Andre McDonald in the 17th minute, while Xavrick Wilson got the consolation goal for Kintyre in the 60th.
Goals from Kirk Darby in the 17th minute, Assod Pinnock 20th and Omar White in the 32nd minutes gave Top Range FC a 3-1 win over Future Youths FC for whom Odean Forbes got their lone goal in the 70th minute. The winners led 3-0 at half time.
Taaj Douglas’ double strike in the 27th and 68th minutes and Nicholas Solomon in the 39th carried Stadium Gardens to a 3-1 win over Chambers Lane FC. Carlton Bent scored for the losers in the 67th minute as the winners led 1-0 at half-time.
In matches in Kingston, Caribbean Palms tagged Delacree Lane 2-0 with goals from Orane Dixon and Andre Carr in the 32nd and 40th minutes, respectively.
Strikers Youth FC beat Action Pack Youth 2-0 through two goals from Ontel Williams in the 15th and 75th minutes.
The competition continues on Sunday with double-headers at several venues, starting at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, respectively.
