Petersfield, Godfrey Stewart poised for Inter-zone berths
Petersfield High and Godfrey Stewart are expected to wrap up the two Inter-zone spots from Zone D of the ISSA/LIME daCosta Cup football competition today.
Both teams are tied on 13 points at the top of the zone and a point from their games will be enough for them to advance to the next round of the competition.
Petersfield High beat Godfrey Stewart on Saturday and lead on goal difference with a game in hand and will tackle Mannings School today while Godfrey Stewart and Grange Hill will meet.
Twelve schools have already qualified for the Inter-zone round, defending champions St Elizabeth Technical (STETHS), Cornwall College, Frome Technical, Muschett High, Manchester High, Mile Gully, Clarendon College, Cedric Titus High, St Mary Technical, Dinthill Technical, Glenmuir High and Garvey Maceo.
