How do you rate your school’s chances in this year’s competition?
I think we can win, we have a very strong chance including all the other tournaments.
Which school do you fear most and why?
I am not intimidated by any team because we have a strong unit, but JC play with a lot of pace and they have a lot of confidence in what they do. They are our rivals and they always carry their ‘A’ game when they come up against us.
How important is it for a student/athlete to have a solid education?
It is important because sometimes you have to have a plan B because in sport you can pick up an injury and your sporting career might be shattered. So you have to rally back on the academics, so you don’t have problems in society.
What are your academic achievements to date?
I have 18 subjects in all, 10 CSEC and eight Cape. I have a grade one in history, maths, literature, religious education, social studies, and physical education, and a grade two in english language, spanish, EDP (electronic document preparation), and technical drawing.
What is your ultimate life ambition?
I want to become a sports manager and then branch off in sports law.
