More school kits supplied under Crayons Count initiative
Teachers collect boxes with learning tools at Tarrant Baptist Basic School in St Andrew last week. Close to 3,000 boxes of school supply kits were packed for hundreds of basic and infant schools across the island under the Crayons Count campaign to support early childhood education. The campaign, launched last year by non profit organisation Do Good Jamaica, aims to increase awareness of the importance of early childhood education and good early childhood practices and provide recommended learning resources to early childhood institutions across Jamaica. The packing and delivery process was done with the aid of National Bakery, an early supporter of the project.
