When did you start playing football?
At age 12 at Chetwood Memorial Primary School.
Which team did you play against in your first daCosta Cup match?
Maldon High last year.
Who is your international football idol?
Wayne Rooney of Manchester United and England.
How do you rate your school’s chances in this year’s competition?
I think we can win the daCosta Cup competition this year; the team is playing very well this year and we have a great combination of players.
Which school do you fear most and why?
I don’t fear any school, we have to be confident we can win every game we play.
How important is it for a student/athlete to have a solid education?
Having a solid educational background can take you very far in life even after you finish playing sports and ensure you succeed at every level.
What are your educational achievements to date?
I have nine CXC subjects.
What is your ultimate life ambition?
I hope to become a physiotherapist, but I am hoping to compete professionally in track and field in the triple jump. (Editor’s note: Lewis was the Carifta Games and CAC Junior Under-20 triple jump champion and also competed at the 2014 IAAF World Junior Championships).
Who has had the biggest impact on your life?
My mother Cephianne Harvey. She is my main motivator to do well in schoolwork and also in sports.
