Both teams are tied on six points but Jamaica lead in goal difference and if the game ends in a draw the Young Reggae Girls will top Group C.
Shanhaine Nelson has hit the upright in the 10th minute while Meredith Calderón went close for Costa Rica in the 28th minute.
With Canada and Haiti also locked at 1-1 in Group D action in Cayman Brac, as it stands, Jamaica will meet Haiti while Canada would play Costa Rica in the quarterfinals.
