THE participants in the Jamaica Observer/Gymkhana Fitness Challenge have been matched. All seven challengers, plus this reporter who brings the total to eight in the batch that is vying to become #GYMKfit, last week selected their personal trainers. Did you know?
It was purely by the luck of the draw as names were selected at random.
These trainers will work with the challengers for the duration of the ABSolute fitness challenge, which is three months and, at the end of it, one will walk away with the inaugural “I’M GYMKFit” trophy.
The Jamaica Observer/Gymkhana Fitness Challenge has not yet hit high gear as the trainers and their clients are still fine-tuning their goals and game plans but the Sunday Observer sought to get to know the trainers a little better and find out generally, what they intend to do to ensure that their charges come out on top.
If you want to get into fitness, start by walking 25 minutes per day. This will help you lose weight and get on track to a healthier lifestyle.
