Pepperpot – The ageing graffiti artist found out
It’s one big laugh, but the old man who is still pining for the good ole days has resorted to graffiti to malign his chosen enemies. But he was found out after some of the messages started to sound like the details of a high-profile court case involving big money in the overseas territory. Now another lawsuit may be coming his way. Poor man!
How cool is that?
Word is that certain expatriates who reside in the Waterworks area of upper St Andrew have been leaving their air-conditioning units running all day while they are out, so when they return the house is nice and cool. But some neighbours feel they are unconscionable, given Jamaica’s high energy bill.
…And speaking of energy
Can anyone say what is happening with the plan to bring cheaper energy to Jamaica? After emasculating Phillip Paulwell, our local energy interests appear to have gone to sleep.
When the lion is sleeping…
So the church still has some bite in it after all. The homosexual community should have heeded the old adage: when the lion is sleeping, don’t try to wake it. That big Half-Way-Tree meeting is only the tip of the iceberg, some have been heard to say.
World Cup trivia
Next World Cup, Pepperpot plans to stage a workshop for the girls who keep embarrassing us sisters by asking silly questions. Like the nicely dressed lady who wondered out loud at the Ghana-Germany viewing party, why not restart the game each time the ref makes an error. Or the one who asked, if they have ‘half-side’ (make that off-side) why don’t they have ‘quarter-side’, ‘three-quarter side’ and ‘full-side’.
Question of the week
Is Nationwide Radio now a part of the Gleaner/Power-106 axis?
