Campari upset Seprod in Business House domino
CAMPARI created a mild upset, beating defending champions Seprod Limited 126-121 in the eighth and final round of the group stage of the National Association of Domino Bodies Kingston & St Andrew Region White Overproof Rum Business House League last Friday.
Having lost 118-120 to Seprod Limited in the fourth round, Campari turned the tables on their opponents to record their third victory in the tournament at home.
The Division Two champions Cari-Med were also beaten, going down 139-151 to Gleaner Company at home at 20 Lady Musgrave Road in New Kingston.
In other results, Wray & Nephew stopped National Baking Company 132-120; Carib Cement Company defeated Courts Sports Club 156-138; Berger Paints Jamaica Limited whipped Kingston Wharves 145-133; and UWI Domino Club edged JUTC 136-137.
In Division Two, Ministry of Finance drubbed Pepsi-Cola Jamaica 147-136 at 214 Spanish Town Road; Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) stopped Kirk Distributors Limited 149-144 in a high-scoring game; National Housing Trust (NHT) defeated Nutrition Products 144-136; First Heritage CCU had a 141-136 victory over Transport Authority; Jamaica Observer easily defeated Petrojam 139-128 at home at 40-42 1/2 Beechwood Avenue and National Commercial Bank (NCB) whipped Flow 147-125.
Round Two in the Knockout Championship takes place today with a full slate of matches at the NHT’s car park.
