Scotiabank crush minnows Housing Agency 61-1
FORMER champions Scotiabank ‘A’ registered a crushing 61-1 win over Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ) as the 2014 Business House Netball Association (BHNA) Open League continued at the Queen’s High School Courts last Saturday.
The Winston Nevers-coached bankers had no mercy on their lesser experienced opponents and easily brushed them aside to come out with the resounding win.
Scotiabank ‘A’ will play their second game when they take on Wisynco ‘A’ this afternoon at 5:30 at the Queen’s High School Netball Court.
Meanwhile, both Scotiabank ‘B’ and Jamaica Broilers have won their second game. The bankers stopped The Gleaner Company 18-12, while Broilers defeated Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) Group 37-7.
In other results National Housing Trust beat Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) 22-11; Sagicor Life Jamaica beat National Water Commission 28-9; Bank of Jamaica outscored Xerox Services 22-15; National Commercial Bank (NCB) Group got past Urban development Corporation (UDC) 18-9; Grace Kennedy got the better of Guardian Life 17-7; WISYNCO ‘B’ got the better of Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) 16-4; Digicel Jamaica Limited beat Jamaica Infrastructure Operator (JIO) 17-14; HEART Trust/NTA got by LIME Jamaica 10-7; and Facey Commodity Group beat AEROTEL Limited 17-7.
