Sunshine Girls set to kick off series with Barbados
As the programme for selecting their final squad for the Commonwealth Games intensifies, number four-ranked Jamaica will play three crucial friendly netball matches against Barbados (ninth) at the GC Foster College in Angels, St Catherine.
The first game will be played on Friday at 7:30 pm, with the others slated for Saturday and Sunday at 5:00 pm.
Netball Jamaica will be seeking to cut the current squad from 18 players to the final 12 and these games will help the coaching staff in making their final selection.
Sunshine Girl coach Minneth Reynolds and her team have set ambitious, yet achievable Commonwealth Games goals.

The Commonwealth Games will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23 to August 3.
Jamaica will open their account neighbours 15th-ranked St Lucia.
