Winston Ennis is JLP minority leader for KSAC
THE Caucus of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) councillors in the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC) has elected a new minority leader.
He is Winston Ennis (Waterloo Division).
Ennis told the Jamaica Observer last week that his leadership of the 15 JLP councillors at the KSAC took effect on June 1.
He said that after Councillor Tosha Schwapp, the previous minority leader and the deputy minority leader Vernon McLeod resigned, he was asked by the caucus to assume the leadership position.
Schwapp told the Observer that she and McLeod had resigned as leader and deputy leader of the JLP minority caucus in order to allow for renewal.
