Well done, Jerome!
To the bitter disappointment of Caribbean fans, West Indies lost last week’s opening game of the three-Test cricket series against New Zealand by 186 runs.
However, for West Indies fast bowler Jerome Taylor, who has been absent from Test match cricket for five years because of injury and unfitness, his own performance provided satisfaction.
Taylor, a past student of St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) and a native of Aberdeen in northern St Elizabeth bowled superbly to finish with match figures of 4-65.
Taylor who turns 30 on June 22 will be hoping for more personal success as well as victory for his team in the second Test which starts today in Port of Spain.
