Scotia ‘B’ hunt second win in Business House Open League netball
SCOTIABANK ‘B’ will go for their second straight win as the 2014 Business House Netball Association (BHNA) Open League competition continues this afternoon at the Queen’s School Courts, starting at 3:00.
The Winston Nevers-coached bankers had crushed NMIA Airports 55-1 last Saturday at the same venue. They should not have much difficulty in overhauling The Gleaner, who lost their opening match 16-13 to Guardian Life.
Meanwhile, former many-time champions Scotiabank ‘A’, who will be playing their first game, and also coached by Nevers, should easily get past Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ) at 4:00.
Jamaica Broilers, one of the top teams in competition, will also go for their second win in as many starts when they face Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) at 6:30. JNBS had defeated Financial Services Commission 26-4 in their first game, while Broilers had defeated Sagicor Life Jamaica ‘B’ 37-3.
HEART Trust/NTA also look for win number two when they go up against LIME. They won their opening game 26-4 over Maritime and Transport Services.
Other matches scheduled this afternoon are Facey Commodity vs Aeronautical Communications (AEROTAL) at 3:00; National Housing Trust (NHT) ‘A’ vs Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC); Transport Authority vs Jamaica Money Market Brokers (JMMB) at 4:00; Digicel Jamaica vs Jamaica Infrastructure Operators (JIO); Guardian Life vs GraceKennedy; Wisynco vs NMIA Airports at 4:45; Sagicor Life Jamaica ‘A’ vs National Water Commission (NWC); Urban Development Corporation (UDC) vs National Commercial Bank (NCB) Group, and XEROX vs Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) at 5:30.
