Brazil kicks off World Cup against Croatia at 3:00pm
KINGSTON, Jamaica—Host nation Brazil is set to kick off their World Cup campaign when they take on Croatia in the opening match of the tournament at the Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo, Brazil, local time 3:00pm.
The two teams have gone head-to-head in two previous matches, a friendly in 2005 and a World Cup Group F in 2006. Brazil won the World Cup match 1-0, the other ending in a 1-1 draw.
Brazil is ranked number 3 by FIFA and Croatia 18.
