Rockfort, Bull Bay for Major League title
Rockfort FC will face Bull Bay FC in the final of the KSAFA/Hi-Lyte Major League football competition on Sunday at the Stadium East Field, starting at 3:30 pm.
Rockfort created a mild upset, beating the inform Maverley/Hughenden FC 1-0 in the semi-final at Stadium East last Sunday.
Meanwhile, Bull Bay outscored Meadforest FC 2-1 in their semi-final at the same Stadium East venue.
Based on the teams’ last two performances, Rockfort hold a slight advantage, scoring more goals than Sunday’s opponents — five goals compared to Bull Bay’s three.
The match can go either way as both teams are playing well.
By making the final, both teams are automatically promoted to the confederation’s top competition, the Super League.
Admission to the game is $200.
