Who says obeah is dead?
The practice of obeah is said to be alive and well. The kind of clientele attracted by the obeahman in the eastern parish would boggle the mind. From early morning to late at night, the high-end vehicles keep traffic busy in the sleepy village. Even ‘stoosh’-looking ladies don’t seem to mind subjecting themselves to the well-known ‘bath’.

Mr Desmond McKenzie should do like Mr Seaga before him and give the police the names of the gunmen and criminals operating in West Kingston. He should stop fooling himself that politicians will once again rule the area.
Big up the Under-16 netballers
Maybe it’s because they are only girls, but not enough noise is being made about the Under-16 netballers who just mercilessly crushed every team in their recent tournament in Antigua & Barbuda. New Zealand, Australia, here we come!
