UWI crowned Intercol volleyball champions
The University of the West Indies, Mona (UWI), were crowned Jamaica Intercollegiate Sports Association male and female champions on Wednesday at the Alfred Sangster Auditorium when they defeated University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech), in both finals.
UWI copped the female best-of-five title 3-0, 25-20, 25-21 and 25-9.
Northern Caribbean University were third in the male section when they warded off the attack of GC Foster College of Physical Education and Sports 3-1, 25-23, 25-19, 20-25 and 25-21.
In the male final, UWI defeated UTech 3-0, 25-14, 25-17 and 25-22.
