LONDON, England (CMC) — Jamaica-born Canadian international Simeon Jackson netted for the second straight game to help struggling Millwall to a share of the points with Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship on Saturday.

The 27-year-old striker, who entered the contest as a 59th-minute substitute, scored from the penalty spot in the 88th minute to put the hosts 2-1 ahead at the Den in southeast London, before Joshua King broke their hearts with a goal in stoppage.

For Millwall, the draw left them in the drop zone on .33 points, still three points away from safety, and without a win in five outings.

Following a goal-less first half, the game came to life in the second, when Shaun Williams put Millwall ahead from the spot, after a foul for which Grant Hanley was sent off.

Despite being a man down, Rovers equalised in the 65th-minute through Michael Keane’s header and Jackson thought he had earned Millwall full points when he converted from the spot after being pulled down inside the area.

However, in the second of five minutes of injury time, King poked home a cross to hurt Millwall.
