Entertainment/Kids Camp capture Beaches Negril Volleyball Champs

It was a battle of the best as the combined team of Entertainment/Kids Camp and Watersports fought to the finish in the final showdown in the Beaches Negril Interdepartmental Beach Volleyball Competition.

But at the end of the two-day match, which was held last Friday and Tuesday, it was Entertainment/Kids Camp that took the crown.

Watersports took an early lead in the game, winning the first set 15-9. However, Entertainment/Kids Camp bounced back in the next two sets, scoring 15-11 and 21-8.

Both Group A’s Entertainment/Kids Camp and Group D’s Watersports proved strong contenders from day one of the competition. But according to the winning captain Omar Griffiths, “in the end it came down to a combination of teamwork, dedication and a determination to win”.

As the champions, Entertainment/Kids Camp walked away with an array of prizes including day/evening passes, cash, a music system, baskets, trophies and certificates.
