Four remain unbeaten in Insports primary netball
CLAN Carthy, St Patrick’s, Pembroke Hall and Mona Heights are the four unbeaten teams at the completion of the preliminary rounds of the 2014 Institute of Sports (Insports) Primary Schools’ netball competition.
All four schools topped their respective zones with maximum 12 points from four consecutive wins. The winners and runners-ups from the four zones will advance to the quarter-final round to be played on a knockout format.
Clan Carthy, coached by Dwayne Walker, captured Zone One with 12 points with Iris Gelly finishing second on nine points.
Zone Two was won by St Patrick’s, coached by Lecia Walters, with 12 points, while second place went to St Jude’s with nine points.
Mona Heights, coached by Kemar Gentles, was the winner of Zone Three with 12 points, with second place going to August Town.
Pembroke Hall, coached by Homer Morgan, emerged winners of Zone Four with 12 points ahead of Harbour View, who placed second with nine points.
