The green-eyed monster is as ‘red-eye’ as he ever was. Now he wants to spend other people’s money, instead of putting his money where his mouth is. But that is his style: berate, belittle and begrudge, but not spending his own money. This is a dragon of no mean order.

Dirty old men

As time gets more modern, we should be seeing less child moms, not more. Where are CISOCA and the Child Advocate to put away those dirty old men who are preying on our little girls? Superintendent Gladys Brown and Diahann Gordon-Harrison, over to you.

Nasty rumour or fact?

As if the school does not have enough problems, rumour is rife that the principal is the one who impregnated the third-form student. Some in the community are saying he should be beaten. But no one can say for sure that he is responsible and the little girl is not talking.

Merger off

The merger is definitely off. Those in the know say the one who likes to show off cannot come up with the sizeable amount of funds needed to bring it off. The question being asked is: will his business survive without the merger?

Farewell, Dorritt Bent

When I was a little girl I used to hear my mother speak all the time about Miss Dorritt Bent and her service to others in need. I never met her in person, but from everything others have said, she was a wonderful person. May her soul rest in peace.
