Two arrested for ganja in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica — The May Pen Police seized a quantity of ganja during an operation on the Toll Gate main road in Clarendon on Sunday, February 16.
Two persons were taken into custody in connection with the seizure.
The Four Paths Police reported that about 5:50 pm, officers signalled the driver of a Nissan Sunny motorcar to stop. The driver complied and the vehicle and its occupants were searched and ganja amounting to 20 pounds was found. The illicit drug has an estimated street value of JMD $100,000.
The identities of the persons taken into custody are being withheld pending further investigations.
