Wakefield All-Stars go in search of fourth straight win
WAKEFIELD, Trelawny — Wakefield All-stars will be gunning for a fourth straight win in the Trelawny Football Association MonyMusk Overproof White Rum Major League today when they host Kinloss FC in a game between joint Zone Two leaders set to start at 3:00 pm.
Wakefield All-Stars have won all three games played so far and are on nine points, same as Kinloss, who have played four games and trail on goal difference.
Wakefield All-Stars have so far scored six times in their three games, while Kinloss have managed just three goals in their three games. They have conceded three goals.
Spicy Hill and Flames were also scheduled to meet, but the game has been postponed for a date to be announced.
Meanwhile, Prospect Links won their second straight 1-0 game, edging Invaders SC, who were losing their fourth straight game by the same margin.
Jeff Bennett scored in the 68th minute for Prospect Links to move to six points and third in Zone Two behind Wakefield All-Stars and Kinloss FC.
Three more games will be played tomorrow. Clarks Town host Coopers Pen at Cedric Titus, Harmony FC meet Salt Marsh United at Bounty Hall, and Bunkers Hill So Fresh meet Classic United.
