Police deny reports of Wisynco being investigated
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police in a news release a short while ago denied reports on social media that they are investigating reports of contaminated products at Wisynco Group Limited.
According to a release from the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN), “At no time was the police ever called in to investigate any such case at Wisynco. There is also no report on any of our records from anyone about any issue concerning the consumption of any Wisynco products.
“The attribution to the Police involvement in investigating this rumour is malicious to both the Police and Wisynco.”
Wisynco Friday morning sent text messages to several people regarding the incident.
“Wisynco advises customers all its brands are completely safe for consumption, any reports otherwise are false and malicious,” the text message says.
Wisynco also included a number that customers can call if additional information is required.
